Chippendale located in inner Sydney on the southern border in the Sydney central business district. Chippendale is includes Broadway in the North and Cleveland Street to the south. Sydney Central train station towards the east, and University of Sydney to the west.

Central Park, Sydney, The historic 168-year old Carlton & United brewery was shut down in December.
The proposed development “Central Park” included commercial as well as residential space, the preservation of several heritage structures, and the creation of a vast new park, dubbed Chippendale Green.
