Sydney Botanic Garden Wedding Photo Examples
An oasis right next to the Sydney CBD, that’s the Royal Botanic Gardens. Easy to see why many couples want their wedding and or couples photos there.
We know the park and area very well having used the Botanic Gardens for leisure and recreation for a few decades. It’s such a wonderful place when the seasonal over-development isn’t there.
The photo gallery below was from a wedding that had the reception at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney, in the Marble Room. Then a quick shuttle bus for the eastern side of the Botanic Gardens. We entered from the Henry Lawson Gate. It was an easy walk down the hill meandering down the wide paths until we found the closest large tree with shade.

Sydney Botanic Gardens Wedding
It was mid afternoon in spring in Sydney to give you an idea of the sun position and lighting. The first request for Park Photos was for the various groups of photos, from the bridal party, close family, extended family and then grouped photos with the other guests.
The Royal Botanic Gardens is well suited to those couples who are very kissy kissy, cuddly and romantic. And not too shy in front the camera when photographed discreetly.
The Botanic Gardens is always a terrific place for proposal photography, so too at the headland at Mrs Macquaries Point.
