Wedding Photos in a Picturesque Outdoor Setting

Small wedding (number of guests) set on 25 Acres, with so much love in lush surroundings late on a showery winters day. After a few date changes due to unforeseen circumstances for the bride and groom, the date was locked in.

Intimate Home Wedding on a Small Property

With both of these cool peeps being in creative fields they have lots of friends who were ready and able to dress up the property near the cottage to make all the preparations.
Large marque for the reception, canopy over a half round clearing for the ceremony. There was an area prepared for the guests who were camping overnight. Ample space for cars and a few of their favourite areas in mind for some couples photos.

It was lots of fun walking around the property looking for cool spots for the couples photos, the stairs leading up to the back of the cottage, the cactus garden, an archway and logs conveniently laid in front of lush green backdrops.

Being early winter I had concerns about the light and what creative options were available to us. Most of the photos in the album was using off camera lighting as open-air natural light could have meant that the threatening showers would do their thing right on cue for when the ceremony was in progress.

This was another pleasurable wedding to photograph.
