Join a local professional photographer who has lived and worked in inner Sydney for 10 years+ on a guided walk in and around major Vivid Sydney 2021 attractions.
NB. Will be updated for 2022
See photo examples below dating from way back to 2009 when Vivid Sydney was just in it’s youth. It was then curated by lighting designer Mary-Anne Kyriakou and headlined by Brian Eno who in collaboration with lighting designer Bruce Ramus.
It is your turn to visit Sydney and be guided using your camera around the amazing colour and wonder that will light up our beautiful City of Sydney.

If it’s too wet for the camera gear or be unsafe the event will not run. The workshop and tours may run in cases of light showers. Notification will be by email or text to the supplied. We will make every endeavour to reschedule your booking. If in the unlikely event we cannot we will give you a refund minus any booking and processing fees.

The Sails of the Sydney Opera House will be transformed into an impressive new digital rendition of an iconic Martu painting. The new projection, Yarrkalpa – Hunting Ground, 2021 by the Martu Artists.
Darling Harbour will come alive with a 100m floating Light Walk incorporating the large-scale artwork Ephemeral. Produced by Sydney’s own Atelier Sisu, visitors are invited to walk under more than 200 giant, bubble-like spheres hovering eight-metres in the air.
Treacle Media, VORAX is an epic 3D storytelling experience projected onto the heritage Customs House building in Circular Quay
The roadway of The Argyle Cut, is a new creation specially designed for Vivid Sydney. Through animated 3D paintings and contemplative and poetic music
